  1. I attended Northampton School for Girls from 1960-65. I know there is group of us dinosaurs out there, and we need more feedback from everyone in those years. It’s great to know what recent grads are doing, but we need everyone, myself included,
to start adding to the alumni news.

    1. Dear Maunie, you and all our other 1965 classmates should have attended our 50th reunion this last weekend. There were only 2 of us: Phyllis Lockwood and I! By contrast there were at least 25 guys from Williston ’65. A problem for keeping our class in touch is the illness of Polly Eskenazy, class secretary. Greetings to all! Mary

  2. I worked at the academy for the summer of 1970 ,under supervision of an alumni Dr .Carter Marshell of Mount Sinai hospital ! I coordinated a project with students from Benjamin High school in East Harlem at your beautiful campus ! Wondering if you would know the status of information on Dr.Marshall ? Please advise thank you Jose Encarnacion

    1. Jose, I’m sorry to let you know that Dr. Marshall died in 2005. A copy of his obituary is below:

“CARTER LEE MARSHALL, MD, MPH Born March 31, 1936 in New Haven, CT, the son of Dr. Carter L. and Grace Marshall, died February 18, 2005, aged 68, in Tucson AZ where he has lived since 1990. Dr. Marshall graduated from Harvard College, magna cum laude in 1958, from Yale Medical School in 1962, and received his MPH from the Yale School of Public Health in 1964. He was the valedictorian of the class of 1954 at Williston Academy in Easthampton, MA. After serving in the US Army in Okinawa in1965-67, he became an Assistant Professor at the University of Kansas School of Medicine from1967-69. He then joined the faculty of the Mt.
