  1. Sad to hear of Doug’s passing. We joined the Air Force together in 1956. A good guy. My sympathy goes out to his family.

  2. 54 was a great year and we had a lot of great years since then. sadly for all of us they are drawing to a close. with everything that doug did it was certainly a life fulfilled. sympathies to the family from the class of 1954 at Wiliiston.

  3. We were good friends and teammates at Williston, my association with Doug went one step further. My soon to be wife was involved in an auto accident on the Mohawk Trail in a snow storm and somehow Doug showed up on a tractor and pulled them out and got the four girls in the car medical help—so we always felt a special bond with Doug. Not sure how the Williston connection got exposed that day —but it was a good thing! All the best to the family—he was a good guy!
