  1. I am so saddened by this loss. Jeremy always lives in my memories as the witty star of our Honors English classes. I wish I could see my classmates now and share my sorrow.

  2. I am so saddened by Jeremy’s passing. He was an incredible guy. Such a star. My fondest memory of Jeremy was from 11th grade English. Mr. Bolt gave us all an exercise to write a poem. In class, we all read our poems. Mine was mediocre at best. There were some standouts, but the star was Jeremy’s poem. We all lit up when Jeremy read his poem. Mr. Bolt jumped out of his seat with excitement, and asked Jeremy how he composed this incredible masterpiece. Jeremy recounted that he simply roamed his house and copied snippets from the packaging of everyday items like toothpaste and cereal. That encapsulated Jeremy for me. Brilliant, joyful, inventive, independent, and endlessly humorous. My deepest condolences to Jeremy’s family and to all of you, his friends.
