{"id":506,"date":"2012-04-24T11:20:40","date_gmt":"2012-04-24T16:20:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/artsspotlight\/?p=506"},"modified":"2013-09-06T12:31:50","modified_gmt":"2013-09-06T17:31:50","slug":"hiddenprivate-part-ii-exhibited-at-grubbs-gallery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/artsspotlight\/2012\/04\/24\/hiddenprivate-part-ii-exhibited-at-grubbs-gallery\/","title":{"rendered":"Hidden\/Private Part II Exhibits at Grubbs Gallery"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"stcpDiv\">\n<p>As a recent guest curator at Easthampton City Arts, Williston Northampton art teacher Marcia Reed designed an exhibition, which highlighted the private side of artists.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI do work that I never show to anyone, ever, and I have a lot of it,\u201d said Reed. \u201cI exhibit this, that, and the other thing, but I never show this private side, this hidden side.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Hidden\/Private Part II is about what artists create and do not share with the public, a private side.\u00a0 The exhibit consists of works that the featured artists do not exhibit, under normal circumstances, and are not known for professionally.
