Last week Mike broke the school record in 200m dash enroute to securing the win in the event for the Wildcats. In addition to winning the 200, Mike also won the 100m and long jump. Mike is a tremendous competitor for the Wildcats and is always striving to get better on and off the track.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2015\/05\/lord.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1793\" src=\"http:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2015\/05\/lord-162x300.jpg\" alt=\"lord\" width=\"162\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2015\/05\/lord-162x300.jpg 162w, https:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2015\/05\/lord-135x250.jpg 135w, https:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2015\/05\/lord.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 162px) 100vw, 162px\" \/><\/a>Julie Lord \u201816<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Julie has been a fantastic competitor for the girls\u2019 varsity tennis team this season. She proved herself to be both mentally and physically strong last Saturday against a highly ranked opponent from St Marks. She dug deep in the second set battle to secure the win 6-1, 7-6. Julie leads by example on and off the court and she is a great role model for the younger players on the team.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ethan Bradway \u201820<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ethan has been great role-player for the boys\u2019 jv lacrosse team this season. Ethan made the most of his playing time against Eaglebrook on Wednesday, and was able to score two key goals. Those goals were the difference in an 8-6 victory. Coaches Hanford and KaneLong have been pleased with Ethan\u2019s work ethic and positive attitude.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2015\/05\/cowles.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1790\" src=\"http:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2015\/05\/cowles-213x300.jpg\" alt=\"cowles\" width=\"213\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2015\/05\/cowles-213x300.jpg 213w, https:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2015\/05\/cowles-177x250.jpg 177w, https:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2015\/05\/cowles.jpg 220w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 213px) 100vw, 213px\" \/><\/a>Week of May 4th<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Milo Cowles \u201815<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Milo has had a great season for the varsity ultimate team this season. Milo made a huge impact during the tournament last weekend.\u00a0 Over the two days and 5 games the team played, Milo had 15 assists, 10 goals, and 15 defensive stops.\u00a0 Milo was a force on the field and his play was a big part of the team\u2019s success \u00a0 He was clutch and came up with big plays when his team needed it.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2015\/05\/simpson.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1794\" src=\"http:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2015\/05\/simpson-199x300.jpg\" alt=\"simpson\" width=\"199\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2015\/05\/simpson-199x300.jpg 199w, https:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2015\/05\/simpson-166x250.jpg 166w, https:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2015\/05\/simpson.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 199px) 100vw, 199px\" \/><\/a>Grace Simpson \u201815<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Grace has been a big part of the girls\u2019 varsity lacrosse team\u2019w success this season. Gracie was a key player in games against rivals NMH and Choate as the Wildcats took both games.\u00a0 Gracie had 4 goals and 3 assists against Choate and was clutch on ground balls and a big part of the great team defense against NMH.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2015\/05\/gethings.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1792\" src=\"http:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2015\/05\/gethings-216x300.jpg\" alt=\"gethings\" width=\"216\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2015\/05\/gethings-216x300.jpg 216w, https:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2015\/05\/gethings-180x250.jpg 180w, https:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2015\/05\/gethings.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 216px) 100vw, 216px\" \/><\/a>Jack Gethings \u201815<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jack has been a big part of the baseball teams success this season. Last week, Jack had two home runs and a double against Suffield, two hits against Vermont Academy, and two more hits against Wilbraham and Monson.\u00a0 For the week, Jack hit .538 with 5 RBI and 4 stolen bases.\u00a0 He also has been playing stellar defense at the short stop position.\u00a0Jack has been a great leader for the wildcats this season.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Issei Nakano \u201817<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Issei has been a major contributor for the boys jv golf team this season. He has been the team\u2019s most consistent golfer this spring. In the team\u2019s last match, he shot his lowest round ever (39) to help pace us to a win over both NMH and Eagle Hill.
