As a team captain, Bina is a role model of discipline and hard work and provides a positive example for everyone on the team on how to be a great teammate.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Julia MacLean \u201918 &#8211; Girls Varsity Hockey<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2016\/12\/julia.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3101\" src=\"http:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2016\/12\/julia.jpg\" alt=\"julia\" width=\"177\" height=\"188\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Julia led the Wildcats on Saturday in the team\u2019s 8-2 victory with her first Williston goal and 2 assists during the game.\u00a0 Her play was exceptional as she won her battles, moved the puck up the ice well and contributed to the offense. Julia\u2019s efforts were notable in all three zones and she will be counted on for continued strong play this season. Her hard work on and off the ice leads a positive example for the younger kids on the team.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Nithish Raja \u201918 &#8211; Boys Varsity Squash<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2016\/12\/nitish.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3100\" src=\"http:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2016\/12\/nitish.jpg\" alt=\"nitish\" width=\"177\" height=\"188\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Nithish had a great first week for the boys varsity squash team. As a newcomer to the varsity ladder Nithish assisted the squad to victory on Saturday, after going down 2-0 in games, he faced a match point in game three before going into tie breaks in games four and five, and in the process, defending 3 more match points by his opponent.\u00a0 He prevailed in the fifth game 15-13! Nithish\u2019s hard work and \u201ccan do\u201d attitude gave the team what it needed to earn its second victory of the season.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Olivia Bonavita \u201917 &#8211; Girls Varsity Basketball<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2016\/12\/olivia.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3102\" src=\"http:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/athletics\/files\/2016\/12\/olivia.jpg\" alt=\"olivia\" width=\"177\" height=\"188\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Olivia has had a strong start to the season for the girls varsity basketball team. On Saturday, she had 14 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 assists in a hard fought game against Kingswood Oxford. Olivia maintained solid energy and composure throughout the whole game.
