Tom led the young water polo team in an opening season double header. He showed great heart and determination, playing the majority of both games, leading the team in scoring with 3 goals, and serving as a positive role model for the new players. His sustained effort while in the pool, and \u201cnever quit\u201d attitude against strong opposition were great examples of what Williston water polo exemplifies.<\/p>\n

Caroline DiFiore \u201819\u2013 Girls Varsity Soccer<\/span><\/p>\n

Caroline has been a force for the Wildcats early this season. She played very tough defense in the Wildcats first 2 contests this season, including shutting down some top players for Miss Porter\u2019s.\u00a0 She did this with great tenacity and hustle, which was contagious for the rest of the squad.\u00a0Caroline leads by example and is a very strong addition to the defensive unit of the Wildcats.<\/p>\n

DJ Poulin \u201819- Boys Varsity Cross Country\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

DJ ran an exceptional race on Saturday in the Wildcats first home meet against Kent.\u00a0 He encouraged his teammate, Caleb Stern, as they moved up in the second half of the race to pass Kent\u2019s 3rd<\/sup>\u00a0and 4th<\/sup>\u00a0runners. \u00a0Both DJ and Caleb finished in Willston\u2019s top five for the race.\u00a0 DJ is a quiet force on the team, always giving it his best, and his hard work throughout the summer clearly provided dividends for the Wildcats.<\/p>\n

Annika von Schoeler-Ames \u201922 \u2013 Girls Varsity Cross Country<\/span><\/p>\n

Annika had a great start for the Wildcats on Saturday. She placed second for Williston competing against a strong Kent squad, and 4th overall, earning valuable points for her team. She made a decisive and dramatic pass of Kent’s #3 runner in the last mile, beating her by 15 seconds and securing a one point victory for Williston.<\/p>\n
