Mark Hannabury ’71

Mark HannaburyMark David Hannabury, 63, passed away on December 19th, 2015 after a 4-month battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Ruth Flaherty Hannabury and step father Leo Flaherty.

He leaves sisters Susan Hannabury Sheridan and Tracy Hannabury and nephew Marcus Sheridan, aunts, uncles, cousins and a loving circle of friends including Eric and Liz Barklund and family.

A successful attorney Mark also enjoyed reading, art, music, running, photography, cartooning and he just recently obtained his parachuting certification. He was possessed of an endless curiosity, amazing wit and profound intelligence.

  1. Sorry to hear about the transition of Mark. I remember him well as we stayed in the same dorm run by Don Knauf.

  5. Wow! Just saw this in the latest bulletin. Hanno and I were roomates by choice for two years. Loved his sarcasm,wit and sense of humor. Rest in peace my dear friend. I guess he finally accepted the collect call from the Duke of Coochiment.

  6. So Sad! Mark and I shared an apartment in Boston at the time he was doing undergraduate work. We lost touch for many years and discovered this news while I was trying to find him. We spent a lot of time have a few beers and trying to play guitar together. A good guy.
