\"Margaret<\/a>Margaret Ellen Ross, Esq. 50, of Somerville, CT died after a brief illness on April 9th, 2015.<\/p>\n

Born in Princeton, NJ, she attended Woodstock Elementary School and The Rectory School in Pomfret, CT, and was a graduate of the Williston Northampton School, Union College, and the Suffolk University Law School.<\/p>\n

She was a practicing attorney in Boston, MA, a dedicated family court advocate for youth and others in state custody and was well-respected by her peers. Passionate about human rights, Margaret was an active member of Massachusetts Citizens Against the Death Penalty. Earlier in her career, she was a Program Coordinator at the Harvard School of Public Health.<\/p>\n

Margaret was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt and friend. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, baking, and traveling. She brightened countless birthdays and holidays with creative confections carefully made for the people she loved. She was an avid bird watcher, a talented photographer, a music and history lover. She adored her feline companions. Margaret’s humor, generosity of spirit, and kindness will never be forgotten.<\/p>\n

Margaret was predeceased by her father, John M. Ross of Woodstock, CT. She is survived by her mother, Irene Ross of Woodstock, CT; her brother and sister in-law David and Diane Ross of West Barnstable, MA; and her brother and sister in-law William and Eden Ross of Stow, MA. Margaret also leaves behind her niece, Caroline Ross of Washington, DC; nephew, James Ross of Jackson, WY; and nephews, John and Samuel Ross of Stow, MA.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
