July 8, 1982 – September 4, 2026

Michael Vincent Malone, a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle and man of faith, lived a life rooted in love, family, and devotion. He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and whose lives are forever enriched by his presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Michael was born in 1982 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Bob and Diane Malone. He was a graduate of the Williston Northampton School in Easthampton, Massachusetts and continued his education at Saint Mary\u2019s University in San Antonio, Texas. Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mary’s University and then went on to enter the School of Law were he also earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence, Magna Cum Laude, in 2012. He was a member of the international legal honor society, Phi Delta Phi, and the John M. Harlan Society for distinguished law graduates. Michael later completed his Master of Laws (LLM) from St. Mary’s, where he was an adjunct professor of law; Michael was also an adjunct professor in St. Mary’s University’s graduate international relations department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After completing his education, Michael established his own law practice in San Antonio, where he focused on probate, estate planning, guardianship and real estate and business law. Through his work, he had the privilege of guiding individuals and families through some of life\u2019s most important decisions. He took great pride in the practice he built and, in the opportunity, to serve his clients with care and dedication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Michael built his professional life in San Antonio, his heart was never far from the family ranch in Sonora, Texas. To him, it was more than a place \u2013 it was home. It was where family gathered, where cherished memories were made, and where he found some of life\u2019s greatest happiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Michael\u2019s faith was a deeply important part of his life and who he was as a person. The beliefs instilled in him throughout his life shaped his values, his deep commitment to family, and the way he approached his relationships with kindness, integrity and love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Above all, Michael treasured his family. He is survived by his wife Barbara; his parents, Bob and Diane Malone; his brother, Ryan Malone, and wife, Jennifer Malone; and his beloved niece and nephew, Ellie and Jack. He found great joy in being their uncle and especially treasured the time he spent with his family and those closest to him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Michael will be remembered for his love he gave so freely to his family, the faith that anchored his life, and the pride he took in his profession. His life touched many, and those who knew and loved him will carry his memory with them always. His memory will forever be woven into the story and hearts of the Malone family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on November 16th at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Sonora. The mass will be followed by a graveside service and a celebration of Michael’s life.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
