Judd Parker &#8217;44"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/obituaries\/files\/2014\/07\/parker.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-717\" src=\"http:\/\/willistonblogs.com\/obituaries\/files\/2014\/07\/parker.jpg\" alt=\"parker\" width=\"61\" height=\"82\" \/><\/a>Luther\u00a0Judd\u00a0Parker, 87, of Cadillac passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at his home.<\/p>\n<p>Judd\u00a0was born on May 2, 1925 in New Britain, Connecticut to Luther and Marion (Billings)\u00a0Parker.<\/p>\n<p>Judd\u00a0graduated from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island and was the owner and President of Rogind-Parker in Detroit. He served honorably with the Coast Guard during World War II.<\/p>\n<p>Judd\u00a0married Frances W. Wentland on August 14, 1948 in Bristol, CT.\u00a0Judd enjoyed golf, sailing, and sports; especially U of M sports.<\/p>\n<p>Surviving Mr.\u00a0Parker\u00a0are his loving wife of 64 years, Frances W.\u00a0Parker\u00a0of Cadillac; son,\u00a0Judd\u00a0(Catherine)\u00a0Parker\u00a0of Iron Mountain; daughter, Kimberley (Norman) Rich of Boca Raton, FL; and daughter, Durrie (Doug) Pruitt of Marshall. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren &#8211; Jessica Rich, Lauren Pallante, Hannah Wilhelm, Cody Wicks, Greg Pruitt, Myles Newton, Noah\u00a0Parker, and Michael Pruitt; as well as 2 great-grandchildren &#8211; Joseph Pallante and Zahra Wilhelm.Judd\u00a0is also survived by brother-in-law, Eugene Williams; nephew, Charles &#8220;Chick&#8221; Miller; and God-child, Rebecca Krestofetz, all of Connecticut; as well as numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.\u00a0Judd\u00a0was preceded in death by an infant son, Kurt Parker; his parents; a brother, Philip Parker; and a sister, Nancy Miller.
