Good Evening everyone.
\nThe e-mail you have been waiting for has finally arrived\u2026 the math resource center will begin operation tomorrow morning!\u00a0 Here are the particulars:<\/p>\n
The schedule is attached and is shown below and it does not change from week to week.\u00a0 Please take note of the fact that two nights a week, Tuesday and Wednesday, you can get math extra help during study hall, from 8 pm to 9 pm, in WB, otherwise known as the Middle School.\u00a0 If you want to take advantage of evening study hall tutoring, make sure you sign out of the dorm and into your tutoring session!<\/p>\n
The Math Resource Center is located on the first floor of the Schoolhouse at the end of the hall right next door to Mrs. Choo\u2019s office.<\/p>\n
Every period during which tutoring is offered, one of the teachers from the math department will be available in the math office to assist the tutor if needed (so far this support has never been needed!)<\/p>\n
You do not need to make an appointment, and you do not need to stay for the entire period or the entire hour in the evening.\u00a0 The math resource center tutoring is a drop-in service.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, you are welcome to come every week at the same time to work with the same tutor(s) if that works well for you.<\/p>\n
You must bring your math materials, including your book, to the resource center and\/or the Middle School.\u00a0 At the moment all of the student edition copies of our math books are on reserve in the library \u2013 we don\u2019t have any extra!<\/p>\n
We encourage you to use this resource wisely.\u00a0 The tutors can help you with many different areas of your learning such as with homework questions, with concepts you just don\u2019t quite \u2018get\u2019, and with preparing for quizzes and tests.\u00a0 We hope you will soon find the great value in working with students who want to help you succeed.<\/p>\n
