\"\"<\/a>Each year about 1.5 million students in more than 22,000 high schools enter the National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the PSAT. About 3 percent of those taking the test qualify to receive program recognition. As a result of their scores, this year Williston has nine students who qualified for this recognition. During All-School Assembly on Friday morning, Associate Head of School Jeff Ketchum reminded juniors and sophomores, who will be taking the test this next Wednesday<\/a>, that the PSAT was more than just practice for the SAT, it was also a chance for national recognition and possible scholarship money. The following seniors received certificates at assembly:<\/p>\n
