In a Washington Post column published on Tuesday, Robert Samuelson ’63 argued that the US is now less dependent on imported oil, a Nixon-era goal.
“America’s oil and gas reserves are far larger than previously thought…By encouraging production, we can enhance our energy security and help stabilize global markets – and prices – through greater supply,” he said.
What a STELLAR photo Chris Chandler ’10 took for his winter study course, “Landscape Photography” at Williams College.
See the elapsed time image of the night sky as it was published in the Williams Review. Chandler took the photo at 4 a.m. on a January morning, but as you can see, the 154 seconds of bitter cold were well worth the final product.
