Jay is off to a great start at the plate for the Wildcats hitting .391 on the year with a .522 OBP.  He leads the team with four home runs on the season.  Last week, he hit homers against Cheshire and Pomfret and had four hits in six at bats in those two games.

Jill Slezek ‘14
Jill has proven to be an offensive and defensive threat for the JV softball team.  In two games last week, she went 5 for 6 at the plate, walked twice, and scored 6 runs.  From the mound, Jill was a force.  Against NMH, she struck out 3, walked 3, and helped her own cause with 11 put outs.  Against Loomis, she pitched a no hitter, striking out 8 in 5 innings and walking only 2; those are big league numbers at any level.  Her contributions have been central to the team’s undefeated start.
