We’ve launched a new Williston Northampton School app! We’re excited to unveil this new tool for parents and students, and we hope it helps keep Williston at your fingertips.
Last spring, we partnered with Finalsite to create a new mobile experience for our community. Now we’re proud to announce that we’ve made it even easier to get news and updates from the school. Our app is ready—and we want you to take it for a spin!
To find the app, search for “Williston Northampton School” in the Apple iTunes store (look for the school’s logo). The first time you open it, the app will take you through a fast, three-step demo.
So, what’s new?
The school app has been designed with our website in mind, and has a fresh, modern (yet still Williston) look. To give you the convenient access to all of our most important information, we’ve integrated the app with our website calendars, news articles, athletic events, and social media.
Click “Menu”—a link on the upper-left corner of the home screen—to find a full list of app features. The app functions make it easy to swipe through images, and our map preview will take you to Google Maps for quick directions.

News
Our favorite stories (the same ones you’ll find on the homepage of the website) are collected in our app’s news feed. Click on the thumbnails to read more, or select “filters” to search by month, year, category, or keyword.
Calendar
Need to find the latest events on campus? Check the calendar section to find information about featured speakers, events, and field trips, available both in a list and grid format. Tap on the “all calendars” button for an easy way to pick among the various calendar options. (Please note, though, that these calendars do not include data from the Veracross, which you’ll still need to log in to access.)
Athletics
Find out who will be next to ring the Victory Bell with our helpful athletics section. Switch between tabs to find recent contests, a list of upcoming games, or and a handy calendar grid. You can also click the teams tab for a quick search. We’ve tried to make finding info on your favorite Wildcat team as easy as possible, so all you have to do is cheer!
Directory
Our campus directory makes looking up your favorite faculty and staff members quick and easy. The directory also features portraits we unveiled on our website earlier this year. Need to find a student or parent? Log in with your WillyNet ID to find those features—as with WillyNet, information about our students and families is restricted to our community.
Contact
We’ve listed some of our most important info here, so you can call or email us quickly. Select the “get directions” feature to locate the campus via Google maps.
Giving
Been meaning to send in that Parents’ Fund gift or get a head start on senior giving? We’ve made it easy to give by adding a link to our mobile-friendly giving page. Click “Give” to make a donation securely and easily from your iPhone.
Media
To keep you up to date with our feeds, we’ve added links to all of Williston’s social media sites, including: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn group, YouTube, Vimeo, and Pinterest. With so much amazing content coming from campus, these are links you’ll be glad to have right in your pocket!
For Alumni
We think our graduates deserve something extra, so we created a special community just for them.
Earlier this year, the Alumni Office launched the EverTrue app, exclusively for Williston alumni. This additional app gives alumni the ability to search for each other by class year, location, and career. We recommend that alumni use EverTrue, which is available for download from the Apple app store or Google Play, to find out about unique events and opportunities we created just for them!
