It’s a good problem to have: who do you root for when two Williston alumni are tied for second place in the USGA Massachusetts Mid-Amateur Championships? Jesse Morgan ’01 and Frank Vana ’81 are tied after two rounds. Competition at the event, which is open to amateur golfers 25 and up with a 5.4 handicap, is in two stages, with an 18-hole sectional qualifying round and a 54-hole championship proper round.
