Thomas ‘15 set a track record; Bronner '08 was a hockey star of the week; Chipouras '15 was NESCAC rookie of the year

Gabby Thomas ‘15 set a new Harvard and Ivy League record in the 200 recently—one of the top five 200-meter times in the country thus far and the fastest 200 by a freshman. As Director of Athletics Mark Conroy succinctly put it,  “Amazing.”

On January 19, Danbury Titans forward Phil Bronner ’08 was selected as the Sons of Hockey Star of the Week by the Federal Hockey League. Mr. Bronner, who is in hishis third professional season, tallied three goals and six assists in four games to help the Danbury Titans to four wins over that weekend.

 In his first year at Trinity College, Max Chipouras ’15 was named New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Rookie of the Year.  As Trinity’s starting running back, Mr. Chipouras had 649 rushing yards on 138 carries for an average of 4.7 yards per carry.  He led the league in touchdowns with 12 and added 12 catches out of the backfield for 54 yards.  Read more about Mr. Chipouras.
