Ian Ostberg ’17 – Varsity Football

ian

Ian finished his standout career with another strong performance this past Saturday against Brunswick.  The senior quarterback threw for 244 yards and 2 touchdowns while also leading the team in rushing versus a very strong Brunswick team.  Ian also contributed on both special teams and on the defensive side of the ball.   As a senior captain Ian was not only the hardest worker on the team, but he also made all of his teammates around him better.

 

Natalie Fontenot ’17 – Girls Varsity Soccer

Natalie has had a great season for the girls varsity soccer team this fall.  Playing a key role in many games this season, she was the ultimate team player doing everything she could on and off the field to help the team.  Natalie capped off her season by having a great last week in games with Choate and NMH.  Her effort and sportsmanship are second to none as she provides a great example for the younger athletes on the team.

 

George Lantz ’17 – Boys Varsity Soccer

George has been a great addition to the boys varsity soccer team this season.  He was a constant scoring threat for the Wildcats, and he ended the fall campaign as the team’s leading scorer.  In addition to his speed and lethal finishing abilities, George emerged as a leader of his peers by virtue of his hard work and his maturity.  He was appointed a team captain to take over leadership responsibilities when the Wildcats co-captain sustained a season-ending injury.  Recently, George was selected to play in the WNEPSSA and NEPSAC All-Star matches, and he was honored as a WNEPSSA Select Team member.

 

Anya Rozario ’20- Girls JV Soccer

Anya has been the defensive anchor to a very successful season for the JV girls soccer team this fall. Her superior speed, quick and intelligent decision making, and her excellent communication on the field have made her a defensive standout all season long. The team’s 4-0 win this past Saturday against NMH was one of six shutouts this season, and Anya was a big part of each win. In recent games, she has proven her offensive worth as well.  Playing forward against Choate she was responsible for generating our lone goal this past Wednesday. Her infectious positive attitude, great focus, and work ethic have helped make this season a successful one!

 

Milo Servin ’19 – JV A Soccer

Milo has had a great season with then boys JV A soccer team. He has exemplified the qualities of extraordinary effort and attention to detail all season. Milo’s dedication to the team goes beyond the field as he provides a level of stability for the squad.  He provided great leadership throughout the season setting a positive example for the rest of his teammates.

 

Brandon Chin ‘19 – Boys JV B Soccer

Brandon has been an important part of the boys JV B soccer team this year.  He is a very versatile player who can play different positions on the field and will step up when his team needs him the most.  In particular, he has helped to form a very strong defense for the Wildcats.  Brandon always leaves everything on the field, and, in this way, leads by perfect example.
