Mikey Lloyd ’16
Mikey, a senior captain, had a solid start to the season for the varsity wrestling team on Saturday. Mikey went 2-0 with 2 pins in the home opener against Hopkins and Hyde. Mikey has an outstanding work ethic and always displays great sportsmanship thus is a great role model for the younger guys on the squad.
Sarah Sullivan ’19
Sarah has started out strong for the girls’ varsity basketball team this season. On Wednesday in the team’s scrimmage against St. Marks Sarah netted 25 points and added 8 rebounds and 3 assists. On Saturday Sarah had another solid performance as she put up 19 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks against Kingswood-Oxford.
Henry Poehlein ’18
Henry played well in the boys’ varsity squash’s opening match on Saturday against St. Marks. Henry was able to battle back from early losses to eventually win his match, showing mental toughness and determination.
Ben Normandin ’19
Ben has been working very hard for the jv wrestling squad so far this year. In the team’s first match on Saturday, he won both his matches by first period pin. Ben won the first match in 45 seconds and the second one in just 24 seconds. He dominated his opponents with his constant attacking style that day. Ben is a hard worker at practice and has a great attitude.
