Athletes of the Week – December 14

doucetteKyle Doucette ‘16

Kyle has had a strong start to the season for the boys’ varsity basketball team. On Sunday, Kyle scored a game high 19 points against Commonwealth Academy to help lead the Wildcats to victory. In addition to his scoring capabilities, Kyle has played exceptionally on the defensive end of the floor. He was successful in shutting down two of the best big men in the AA conference against both Commonwealth Academy and Vermont Academy. Kyle is a tremendous talent, but he also leads by example, as his work ethic and attitude are second to none.

 

aquadroNatalie Aquadro ‘17

Natalie has been a force for the girls’ varsity swim team so far this season. She has been a huge contributor to the team’s success. Natalie has placed first in four of the six races she has competed in, and placed second in the other two races. Natalie is part of the relay team that has been undefeated so far this season. Natalie is swimming fast, and has displayed great leadership as a team captain.

 

 

Vishnu Sekar ‘19

As a member of the boys’ jv squash team, Vishnu is new to the game of squash. Competing as the Wildcats seventh seed in the match against Deerfield on Saturday, he battled an experienced squash player in a 5-game match, narrowly losing the deciding game by just a few points, a huge accomplishment for a new player. Vishnu’s focus, drive and determination is what allows him to learn and grow as a player.

 

Justin Park ‘17

Justin has been playing outstanding basketball for the boys’ jv team this season. On Saturday, against Cushing Academy, Justin scored 23 points to lead the team. In addition to his stellar play on offense, Justin was a force on defense.
