Mason Balch ’18- Boys Varsity Lacrosse

Mason had a fantastic week for the Wildcats varsity lacrosse team. On Wednesday, he contributed 4 goals and 3 assists in a narrow loss to Albany Academy. His great play continued on Saturday as he finished the day with 3 goals and 5 assists in a league-opening win against Gunnery. His 7 goals and 8 assists lead the team in both categories. Mason’s team first mentality and tireless effort to perfect his craft provides a great example for everyone on the team!

Fiona Bundy ’18 – Girls Varsity Lacrosse

Fiona has had a great start to the season for the Wildcats. She has played strong in all 3 games and has been a big part of the team’s 3-0 start to the season.  In an exciting 12-11 win over Hotchkiss on Wednesday, she scored with 12 seconds to go to secure the win for the Wildcats. Fiona has scored 11 goals in the teams first 3 games this season and has played hard on both ends of the field. Fiona works tremendously hard, on and off the field, to better herself and her teammates.

Toyo Sato ’20- Boys JV Tennis.

Toyo teamed with Ethan Huang as the number 2 doubles team against Eaglebrook and together were able to notch the first victory of the season for the team 6-4. His strong effort and positive attitude have been part of a promising start for our young squad.  He has been a terrific leader by example!

Lydia Pollard ’18 -Girls JV Lacrosse

Lydia has emerged as a leader for the Wildcats early this spring. On Saturday, against Loomis Chaffee, she took it upon herself to turn the momentum in the second half.  With a combination of skill, athletic maturity, and drive, Lydia helped the team settle into the attack strategy and quickly took advantage of every opportunity to score.  She scored an impressive four goals in addition to recording two assists. Lydia will be looked to as a team leader throughout the season for the Wildcats.
