Sophomore Natalia Ovando made an impressive showing against Kingswood-Oxford on Saturday. In the team’s 6-1 win, Natalia scored four goals and added an assist. Natalia has also showed versatility by playing high-pressure defense in a close match with Worcester Academy the previous weekend.
Post-grad Will Consavage had an outstanding game against Westminster on Saturday as the Wildcats rolled to a 65-32 victory. Will’s solid blocking helped the team rush for 485 yards averaging over 11 yards a carry, “Will is a hardnosed, dedicated, and unselfish teammate who gives a great effort every day” states Coach Conroy.
Senior runner Hannah Lewis has made a big splash so far this year for the girls cross country team. Placing first overall in her first two races, Hannah has moved to 7th place on the Williston honor roll with a personal best time of 20:52. Hannah also placed first for Williston and third overall this past Saturday against NMH.
Pierre DeLiso ‘13
Pierre DeLiso, a senior defender on the boys’ varsity soccer team is a true competitor on the pitch.
In addition to contributing a goal on a penalty kick in Wednesday’s match up against Cushing, Pierre has also anchored the team’s defense, helping the Wildcats earn shutout victories in their first two games against Canterbury and Cushing.

Two Wildcat competitors earned first place finishes at the Division II New England Swimming and Diving Champions held at Westminster School on Saturday. Andrew Spruck ’12 was the champion in the Boys 1-Meter Diving competition with a score of 285.15, while Natalie Aquadro ’17 won the Girls 200 Freestyle with a time of 2:03.45 and finished 4th in the 100 Breaststroke. Other top eight finishers for Williston include Samantha Fry – 6th in the 100 Breaststroke, Tory Durocher – 8th in 1-Meter Diving, Michael Tanner – 2nd in 1-Meter Diving, Calvin Frye – 5th in 500 Freestyle and Matt Freire – 100 Butterfly.
