Please make a note that this Wednesday, October 24, is the annual Rag Shag Parade in Easthampton. This community event for young children is sponsored by the City of Easthampton, and it is a favorite fall tradition. I wanted to make you are aware of the parade, as it may impact parent pick-up at the school that evening, as well as access to parts of campus.

The parade route is as follows:

At 6:30 p.m., the parade will begin at Maple Street School. It goes down Cottage Street, bears right on to Union Street, goes around the rotary, and then on to Park Street. The parade ends in front of the Reed Campus Center.

The driveway around the quad will not be accessible from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Pick-up alternatives are the Athletic Center or the Middle School, and you should plan accordingly. If there is rain on Wednesday, the parade will be postponed until Thursday, October 25.
