Editor’s note: The following was provided by Matt Sawyer, Ninth Grade Dean, English Teacher, and Head Baseball Coach.

Each year, the Maple Street Elementary School in Easthampton hosts the “Athletes Love to Read” program and invite student/athletes from local schools and colleges to come to their school and read to students and to interact with them.  Amherst College, Mount Holyoke, Smith College, UMASS, Easthampton High School sent athletes in addition to Williston.  This is the third year that Williston has been involved in this program.

The Williston student/athletes had a wonderful time at the event and represented the school well.
