April for Annual Fund

April was a fantastic month for The Williston Northampton School Annual Fund!

Thanks to 566 donors, we increased our participation by 7 percent and raised over $100,000 toward our 2011-2012 Annual Fund goal. Compared to April 2011, we had more than twice as many alumni make gifts to the Annual Fund.

The final score for the April Alumni Challenge:

Williston Northampton: 566
Suffield Academy: 707
Berkshire School: 500

THANK YOU!
We are six weeks from our June 30 fiscal year-end. If you were not able to participate in the April Alumni Challenge last month, there’s still time to make your 2011-2012 Annual Fund gift by June 30!

Make your gift online, call us at (800) 469-4559, or mail your contribution to The Williston Northampton School Annual Fund at 19 Payson Avenue, Easthampton, MA 01027.

Thank you again to those who participated in the April Alumni Challenge last month. It was exciting to see the loyalty alumni feel towards the School, as well as have some new donors to the Annual Fund. We are truly grateful for your generosity and support.

Website Transition

You may have noticed that our website is undergoing a transition today.  Apologies for any frustration, but we should be functional by the end of the day.  WillyNet will be a work in progress for the next few days, but we’re hopeful everything will be in place by the end of the week.

In the meantime, thank you again for your patience.  If you have any questions, please let me know.

Pride Parade in Northampton

Saturday is the annual fun PRIDE march in Northampton. The march starts at noon and lasts about an hour and is followed by a rally at the fair grounds. We will have a ‘float’ in the parade. There are two opportunities for rides to the march. Mr. Spearing will be driving over around 10:45 from the quad and Mr. Samuelson will be leaving from the schoolhouse around 11:30 after period 1. Mr. Samuelson will be returning to campus after the march to drive any students who need to return. Any one can walk along with us but you need permission (permission slip attached) to ride in the float which is a boat donated by a Williston parent. Let Mr. Spearing or Mr. Samuelson know today if you intend to ride along.
