National Coming Out Day is a day to celebrate and support people who have come out as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender. We want to wish every member of our community has a fabulous day!
And we are looking forward to Ally Week next week!

Each week the Athletic Department honors “Athletes of the Week”. Players are nominated by coaches for their efforts and performance the previous week. Please extend your congratulations to these athletes of the week!
Williston is a “singing school,” as Ben Demerath, our music director always tells us. And surely, our boys and girls singing groups, the Caterwaulers and the Widdigers, produce memorable moments each year. But even Mr. Demerath was surprised by what happened at Sunday’s first Upper School assembly.
Hi Everyone…As the year draws to a close, I wanted to acknowledge the hard work done by our Writing Center tutors this year. These students happily volunteer their time to be a part of your growth as writers; please extend a “thank you” when you see them, particularly if they are graduating!

A special “thank you” to Ms. Hume, who will be leaving her post in the Writing Center to work full-time in the Fine Arts Department. We have appreciated her calm and practical approach to hundreds of students and their writing since the founding of the Writing Center in 2005! Happy Trails, Ms. Hume!
Williston Northampton hosted its third successful blood drive of the year on Saturday, May 26th. Despite an exceptionally warm day, and a delay at the start, 74 members of the Williston Northampton School and the greater Easthampton community made donations. Because eight of those donors contributed “double red cells” our total donations grew to 82. That means that as many as 246 people will get a second chance because of the hard work and generosity of many people.
Special thanks go to seniors Adrian Mendoza and Alex Nunnelly. Together with Mr. Spearing they put together a tremendous team of student and parent volunteers. Their terrific recruiting campaign and organizational effort made the difference in all three blood drives this year.
Today is Willy Gras! After the rain showers pass, and you finish your Advisor meetings, come out and enjoy the rides, food, and fun. Congratulations to Cameron Hill and Brenna Quirk for their winning Willy Gras t-shirt design. You can get yours on the patio in front of Reed, along with Williston Wildcat mini footballs, rally towels (perfect to support our teams and use at the Powder Puff game on Sunday), and personal electric fans (batteries included) to stay cool. Be proud of the Blue and Green, have fun, and please be respectful of each other and the equipment today.
