As you already know, it’s spirit week! Throughout the week we want you to send us your best spirit pictures! You can do this by using #WillySpiritWeek in your tweets and Instagrams or by mentioning @iWilliston. At the end of the week we will decide the winners for each spirit day and announce their names and display their pictures at assembly this Friday….The best part? The winners will receive a prize for their spirit!! So, send in your pics, wildcats!

While the sophomores and juniors take the PSAT, Class of 2017 will be meeting as part of the CORE curriculum, and the Class of 2014 will be working with members of the English Department to review college entrance essays.
All sophomores and juniors will take the PSAT on Wednesday, October 16. Students should have paid the $16 charge for the test in the dining commons last week. Registration for the PSAT will take place on the test day promptly at 8:30 a.m. in the Athletic Center. Due to the large number of students involved, sophomores and juniors must be present by 8:15 a.m. at the latest. Learn more about the test here. Tickets for the fall production, Lee Hall’s adaptation of Carlo Goldoni’s A Servant to Two Masters, are now on sale. Performances are October 17-19 and October 24-26. Tickets are $7 for non-Williston students/seniors and $10 for adults. The performance on Friday, October 18 is free for Williston families. For more information, visit www.williston.com/theater.
Advisee Dinners are Tuesday, October 15 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Advisees should ask their advisors about arrangements for the evening. Some advisors take students to a meal at a local restaurant, while others host dinners. Afternoon practices that day will end at 5:15 p.m.

Plan ahead. Spirit week coming up leading into family weekend, Friday Oct 18, 7:15 p.m. bonfire with words from varsity captains and s’mores out on quad in front of Logan behind John Wright dorm. Talk to student leaders about that. Student council has met several times, and they are listening to you and speaking on your behalf, so communicate with them and consider getting involved as a leader. Girls’ football game Oct 28, and Halloween Costume Dance November 1 coming up!!!
