Martha McCullagh has started a Hot Chocolate Run team called “Williston Northampton School”.  The team is open for anyone who wants to join and is available on the registration form online. Enter your information on the first page and you’ll find the drop down for a team on the second.  If you are a community member who is registering to run or walk that day, please sign up to be part of the Willy team. The 11th Annual Hot Chocolate Run will take place on Sunday, December 7, 2014.

The Hot Chocolate Run is to raise money to prevent domestic violence in Hampshire County. If you’d like to donate, you can do so here.

Add/Drop Deadlines

Today, Wednesday, September 17, is the last day to add a class.  We will continue to entertain proposals to move up or down within a single subject (Spanish II Honors to Spanish II Standard, for example), but after today it will be too late to add a new class.  We hope that all students have now settled into their academic schedules and that no more section changes will be necessary.  As with any deadline or school policy, if truly extenuating circumstances arise in the next day or two, we will be happy to speak to students about those circumstances, but all students and advisors should know that today is the formal deadline for adding a class.   Department heads can still refer student course changes to the Academic Office, but student initiated changes should be concluded as of today.

The deadline for dropping a class is October 16, a date that corresponds with the recording of interim T1 comments and grades.  If a course is dropped before that date, the course will not be appear on the transcript.  Any course drops after that date will be recorded formally as Withdrawals, with accompanying grades on the transcript of WP or WF.

Good luck with your classes!

Mr. Tuleja
