Rag Shag Parade in Easthampton Tonight

Please make a note that the annual Rag Shag Parade is tonight. This terrific community event for young children is sponsored by the City of Easthampton, and it’s a favorite fall tradition. The rain date is Wednesday, October 30.

The parade route is as follows:

The parade will begin at Maple Street School. It goes down Cottage Street, bears right on to Union Street, goes around the rotary, and then on to Park Street. The parade ends in front of the Reed Campus Center.

The driveway around the quad will not be accessible from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Pick-up alternatives for families are the Athletic Center or the Middle School. Please make note for your commute tonight.

Hooray for Halloween!

CPR-AED Training

In an effort to provide our students with a safer learning environment, the School will be requiring all full time employees, faculty and staff, seasonal coaches and any other employee who has regular contact with students to participate in CPR/AED (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation/Automated external defibrillator) training by the end of the academic year.  Jay Grant will be contacting department managers/supervisors to arrange training sessions for their employees. The cost of this training will be covered by the school.

Please don’t hesitate to contact Jay Grant jgrant@williston.com or Kerry Beth Garvey kgarvey@williston.com  if you have any questions.
