Assorted deli meats-turkey, ham and roast beef and cheeses-american, swiss and provolone,  seafood and/or egg salad, vegetable quiche, chicken rice soup, clam chowder

Pasta station: marinara sauce or sautéed vegetables

Dinner
Black bean, cheese and salsa quesadillas, vegetarian beans and rice, Chicken quesadillas-flour tortillas, nachos and cheese, mixed vegetables, tacos, refried beans, taco shells, flour tortillas

Moment of Silence: Willistonian Blog

On December 7, at the Boys Varsity Basketball game, Williston students tried something new as fans. Usually, at basketball games, fans will get loud and excited at the tip-off, marking the start of the game and then cheer each time their team scores a point. But, at this game Williston fans waited until the 10th point to make any noise at all. Until the 10th point, Williston fans were silent. But, when that 10th point came, which was scored by Junior Adey Adams, the bleachers erupted with very loud, thunderous cheer. “It was absolutely insane,” says Freshman Calvin Frye.

Ten for Cum Laude

The Williston Northampton School chapter of the Cum Laude Society will be inducting 10 members from the Class of 2013 on Friday, January 11 at 8:30 a.m.

The Cum Laude Society, founded in 1906 and modeled after Phi Beta Kappa, honors scholastic achievement in secondary schools.  The society has over 350 chapters, with the majority in independent schools.  In 1921, Williston Academy became a member of the society, followed by Northampton School for Girls in 1951.  In 1971, a new charter was created for The Williston Northampton School.

The following students will be inducted in the Phillips Stevens Chapel on the Williston Northampton campus.

Wildcat Robotics Head to FIRST Qualifiers

Folks,

I am pleased to announce that the Williston Wildcat Robotics Team will be going to their opening FIRST Tech Challenge State Qualifying tournament this Saturday, January 12th at Arlington High School in Arlington, MA.

The Robotics Team members are:

Berghoff, Chris

Kimball, Ethan
Lucia, Aaron
Watson, Kyle
Won, Sean
Frodo, The Robot

The team will leave the campus by 5:30 am to ensure our arrival for the 7:30 am start time. The tournament will end about 4:30 – 5:00 pm so the team will return to campus no later than 7:00 pm.
