Students in Sculpture I class will head to Mass MoCA in North Adams on Feb. 10, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The field trip is required for the 13 students in the class and will be proctored by Fine and Performing Arts teacher Natania Hume.
Students in Natania Hume’s ceramics class are off to Westhampton to visit Robbie Heidinger’s ceramics studio. The field trip is required and will be proctored by Ms. Hume.
According to her website, Robbie Heidinger’s work is “very touchable. It satisfies the urge to feel something attractively “natural,” and more seductively, rewards the user by connecting them with a very potent and tightly focused abstraction of the tissues and structures of organic life.”
