Saturday, October 18

  • Open Gym 7:30-10:55 p.m.
  • Open Reed 7:15-10:50 p.m.
  • Open Mic in the Stu Bop with snacks and drinks 9-10:30 p.m. o   Spoken word, poetry, music, dance, beat box, hidden talents. o   Sign up for a spot on the Activities Board
  • Trip to the Movies at Hampshire Mall departs 6:45 p.m.
  • Northampton Shuttle 7:15-10:45 p.m.

Sunday, October 19

  • Open Reed NFL on big screen with pizza and wings 1-5 p.m.
  • Open Gym 1:15-5:15 p.m.
  • Holyoke Mall 1-5 p.m.
  • Outlook Farm Pumpkin Festival 12-3 p.m. o   Apple-picking, apple cider, hay rides, animals, food. o   New England tradition!

 If you sign up for weekend activities, you are expected to attend.  If you do not attend, and do not alert Mr. Spearing, the faculty chaperone, or the Dean on Duty prior to the event you will lose weekend privileges the following week.

  • Providence, RI Day Trip 8:30 a.m.-9 p.m.  2 Charter Buses meet in front of Reed at 8:15.  Depart at 8:30 a.m. sharp. Spearing, Rachel Chambers, Kate Verdickt, Mary Paige, Susanna White
    • 1 group to visit Brown University for 11 a.m. tour.  1 group to Rhode Island School of Design for 11:30 a.m. tour.
    • Downtown Providence shopping, museums, food, and a large mall.
    • $30 meal money provided in the morning.
    • Chaperones, entertainment and meals paid for/reimbursed by school.
    • Students check into dorms upon arrival back to campus 9 p.m.

Those who came out for Josh Panda and the Hot Damned had a blast dancing, getting their picture taken with the band and grilling food.  A special thanks to all the student leaders who helped out and to Physical Plant for working hard to have the concert in Lossone Hockey Rink.  Another good weekend coming up!

2014 Dodgeball Results

Thank you to all who helped.  Maddy Stern, Ben Wheeler, Jay Grant, Tim Cheney, Ben Demerath, Annie Schneider, Jen Gross, Paul Rutherford, Rachel Chambers.

Congratulations to all the teams today.  The Final Four were Davey and The 5-holes vs. ORE, and the Willistoldians vs. the Legion of Boom.  The finals were ORE vs. the Legion of Boom.  ORE was victorious.

Great job to everyone cheering for each other and having good fun.  The uniforms were outstanding! Anyone who has pictures from the event, please send them to me.  Thank you to everyone who helped set up, referee, and announce.  Let’s keep that energy going to support our teams in the playoffs, our performers, Muji 3-on-3 on Friday, and through Assessments.  Go Wildcats!
