All Employee Meeting 8/30

Good afternoon! on Thursday August 30, 2012, there will be a MANDATORY ALL EMPLOYEE in the theater from 1 PM to 3:15 PM.

The agenda for this meeting will consist of Bullying, Harassment, Hazing Prevention. We will also have a representative from ING to give us an update about the upcoming changes to our retirement plan. We will also review Emergency Response Preparedness.

We are required, by law, to educate all employees on Bullying, Harassment and Hazing.  Attendance will be taken at the meeting. Please plan your schedules accordingly.

If this time does not fall within your normal schedule, you will still be expected to attend. All managers and supervisors are aware of the importance of this meeting.

Landscaping This Week

Starting Wednesday, August 22nd, workers from RJM Landscaping will be on campus working on the following areas to prune if needed, weed, edge beds, spruce up or add mulch to the area:

  • 220 Main Street

  • Physical Plant

Dining Hall Hours Aug. 10-15

The Dining Hall will close after lunch on Friday, August 10th
and reopen for dinner on Sunday, August 12th  (5:15 pm – 6:00 pm)

Next week,  Monday, August 13th through Wednesday, August 15th
Lunch – 11:30 am – 12:30 pm
Dinner – 5:15 pm – 6:00 pm

The Dining Hall will close for the remainder of the summer after dinner on
Wednesday, August 15th

Concussion Training for all Parents, Faculty, Students

In an effort to increase awareness about the importance of proper concussion recognition and management, the School is requesting that all students, faculty, and parents complete an online course about concussions, and their effect on participation in sports.

There are two online courses that are available to all at no cost.  We ask that you please view one of these courses prior to the opening of school in September. The two links are:

Upcoming Schedules and Assignments

In the Dean’s office, Dave K and Christa have been putting on the finishing touches of housing and advising assignments, as well as planning for Orientations for all classes at the opening of school.  They report being particularly excited about the Proctors’ return to campus on Sept. 4th for training and to kick off the student experience for the upcoming year!
