James K. Manfield ’88

James “Jim” Kevin Manfield, 54, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 in Nashua. He was born in Worcester, Massachusetts on May 12, 1970, son of James J. Manfield and Therese (Gignilliat) Manfield.
Jim attended Williston Northampton Middle and High School, class of 1988; Boston College where he received his BS in Marketing, class of 1992; and the University of New Hampshire Whittemore School of Business and Economics where he received his MBA, class of 1994.
Jim was a loving and dedicated father. His pride and joy, Javin, will forever cherish their backyard football, ‘lawn shots’ hockey games, fantasy football battles, grilling sessions, sports bonding, and multi-hour-long Yahtzee tournaments. Javin will miss their father son vacations whether for hockey or fun.
Jim worked as a business analyst and program manager for many years for various companies in Colorado and New Hampshire including Sun Microsystems, Fidelity Investments, Lawson Software, Kronos, and Deloitte Consulting.
Sports were an important part of Jim’s life. As a talented athlete, Jim grew up playing youth sports and spent much time playing football, hockey and baseball throughout high school. He was also a passionate sports fan and especially enjoyed watching the Boston Bruins, the New England Patriots, and all Boston College sports. Through his love of sports, Jim made numerous acquaintances and friends who shared his passion. Over the course of his life Jim spent countless hours playing, attending, and watching sports, creating lasting memories and bonds with family and friends.
Jim is survived by his son, Javin T. Manfield, his father James J. Manfield, and his sister and brother-in-law Christine ’85 (Manfield) and Mike Reading along with many nieces, cousins, and other close family. Jim is predeceased by his mother Therese Manfield. Jim also leaves behind many friends who knew him as a loyal friend, captivating story teller and life of the party.
Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 10 AM to 12 noon at Davis Funeral Home One Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064. Family and friends are invited to attend. Those who wish to make a memorial contribution in Jim’s memory may do so to the college scholarship fund for his son, Javin T. Manfield. Checks can be made out to Fidelity Brokerage Services LLC and mailed to Jim’s sister Christine Reading, 89 Maple Street, West Newbury, MA 01985.

Paul A. Davy ’88

Paul A. Davy, 51, of Salem, NH passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 16, 2021 at his home.

Paul grew up in Easthampton, MA and graduated from Williston Northampton School and he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Studies from Daniel Webster College in Nashua, NH. During his college years, he was a member of the Phi Beta Upsilon fraternity later becoming the President of the Alumni Association. He has maintained close friendships with his “brothers.” Paul spent his career in the aviation industry, working most recently for Port City Air, where he enjoyed being the Director of Marketing and Business Development.

Paul served his country in the US Air Force. He enjoyed soccer, lacrosse, skiing, paddle boarding, boating, mountain biking and going to New England Revolution games. Paul spent many years playing soccer with his over 40 soccer team. He loved to fly and go to the beach. Paul was a devoted father and loved to play with his sons and watch their basketball and lacrosse games. He loved spending quality time with his family and large extended family and friends. He had an amazing sense of humor.

Paul will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 19 years, Amy (Shoukimas) Davy of Salem, NH; his sons, Finneas and Teegan Davy of Salem, NH; his mother, Patricia (Lessard) Davy and the late Armand A. Davy of York, ME; his father and mother in law, Peter and Linda Shoukimas of Seabrook, NH; his sister, Renee Swartz ’91 and husband Erik; his brother and sisters in law, Craig and Sue Shoukimas, Matthew and Christine Shoukimas, Adam and Erika Shoukimas and Ashley Shoukimas and Chris Moore; his nieces and nephews, Bode, Noah, Anna, Oak, Ellis, Merlin, Scout, Quigley, Caleb and E’vry.

Visitation will be on Monday, Sept. 20th from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 12 noon at Mary Queen of Peace Church, 200 Lawrence Rd, Salem, NH. Burial with military honors will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.

Troy R. Price ’88

Troy R. Price, 50, a four-time cancer survivor, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020 from COVID-19. Troy courageously battled Leukemia for over six years, and was inspired to live every day of his life to the fullest. Troy leaves the love of his life, Mary, and his daughters Emma and Anna. Troy and Mary spent 31 amazing years together. They were truly best friends, and Troy woke up every day so full of love and gratitude for Mary. Troy’s favorite job was being a dad. He always told his girls how much he loved them, and they will carry his love and light with them every day of their lives. Additionally, his mother, Dixie, provided love and support to him through every high and low moment throughout his life. Troy’s light will continue to shine on all of those he impacted, and he will forever be Troy Strong. All services were private. Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home handled arrangements.
