Girls Basketball Tournament TODAY

Dear Williston Community,

Just a reminder that Williston is hosting our annual girls basketball tournament today at the Athletic Center.  In its 26th  year, the girls basketball tournament is named the Ray Brown Holiday Tournament in honor of our longtime coach who retired in 2002.  I am sure Coaches Fulcher and Whipple and all the girls would appreciate your support if you can make it down to the Athletic Center to cheer them on.  Here is the schedule:

Immigration: Past & Present – Field Trip
Yiddish Book Center, Amherst MA
Thursday, December 12, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Tomorrow students have a wonderful opportunity to attend an event related to their course.  Students will be given an introduction to the museum through guided tours of the Center’s exhibits, followed by the program “Becoming Americans,” which includes the experiences of 20th century immigrants as well as immigrants today.

Students who are registered for “Immigration: Past & Present” are required to attend this field trip as part of their course work.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact Dave Koritkoski or Kim Evelti.

Math Resource Center Trimester 2 Schedule

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope you have had a great start to trimester 2.  To help you do your best, please take advantage of the fabulous peer tutoring that is available every day.  Now that the schedule has been revised based on student schedule changes, our trimester 2 schedule is set.  Here is what that means to you:  if period F is your free period, for example, then you can schedule yourself to go to the Math Resource Center (1st floor of the Schoolhouse next door to Mrs. Choo’s office) every week during period F on Monday and/or during period F on Thursday.  Nan and Loren will be there every Monday, and Nick will be there every Thursday.  You can count on them!
