Jonathan W. Osborn, 77, died peacefully after a long illness on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, in the company of his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Sue; son, Ron Osborn and spouse, Diana of Johnson; daughter, the Rev. Sherry Osborn and spouse, Maggie King of Charlotte; beloved grandchildren, Sam and Ben; and brother, Jim of Northampton, Mass.

Think my memory is correct.Instead of going to the Senior banquet at Williston,several of us ,including Jon ,went to see in Northampton the movie Blackboard Jungle. I smile when I remember Jon.
I first met Jonathan in 1949 at Williston Junior School. We became fast friends at once and our friendship lasted through our many years at Williston. There were many fun times with lots of laughs. I am truly sorry to hear of his passing.
