He indeed made my Mom happy before she passed at age 100, of the historical WW2 evacuation of marines from the battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa. His wife Karen allowed him to pursue his attention to detail and dedication to the US navy flight nurses of WW2. For this, they are to be commended. God bless their family for making others happy!
