Derek was a happy fellow and a great international addition to the class. I visited him in England a few years after our graduation and he was a genial and hospitable host. I kept in touch with him off and on over the years and and was sorry that he lost his first wife to cancer, I recall. She was from France. However, he was fortunate and married again. I regret his passing to his eternal rest so soon and shall miss him.

Skip – I too remember Derek fondly. How are you? Where are you?
