Clement Laurence Salvadori, of Atascadero, California, passed away on May 1, 2026, at the age of 86. He was predeceased by his wife Susan in January.

Clem’s writings took you on the ride with him. His description of things transported you to wherever he was. When you read his stories you could almost feel the heat of the Sahara, or smell the smells of a 3rd world village in Bangladesh. His evals of bikes and gear were always honest and accurate.
Sue was the anchor. She kept the home fires burning while Clem rode… well everywhere.
I corresponded with him off and on for +/-10 years. Always interesting. He’s a most irreplaceable character and the best scribe that every put a line on a sheet of paper.
I always thanked him for his service to our country and for protecting my sorry fat rear end.
They just don’t make em like that anymore.
