We had a great launch to our competitive season this afternoon!
35 students participated in the first round of the New England Math League, with participants spanning all 6 grades! Each competitor had 30 minutes to work by themselves on the same 6 questions. Each question was worth one point and calculators could be used.
Our team score is made up of the sum of the top 5 scores… and we did very well, scoring a 27!
Our average score per participant was 2.77.
The next NEML competition will be held on Tuesday, November 11th at 3pm in Schoolhouse 27.
